I've got this old compaq that I was gonna try to use for a project, but the only port I need (25-pin parallel) is refusing to cooperate. I've tried both EPP and ECP settings in BIOS, and I'm pretty sure I've got the right address for it, but it seems to be stuck with pins 1-13 high and pins 14-25 low. I ran a parallel port monitor, and reported pins 1-17 as high. It's supposed to let me control the pins also, but the only ones it can change are 14, 16, and 17. I'm guessing this motherboard is toast.
