Outlook backup

I've done an XP reinstall for a friend, made sure I had all her files backed up.
Reinstall was no problem (my first time, bit nervous you see) and thought I'd put everything back. She now says that she wishes I'd backed up her Outlook mail. Well as it happens as well as regular backup I also used a disc image application to copy her hard drive. The question is, where exactly do I look for her Outlook files? if that's not a stupid question.

are you using outlook express or outlook 2003 etc?

Outlook express stores files in a .BAK file in %system root%\Documents and settings\(username)\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ (huge string of numbers here)
