Opteron 180 and Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe

is an opteron 180 (socket 939) compatible with the asus a8n32-sli deluxe (socket 939)? i ask because on amd.com the "motherboard" configurator does not include the asus A8n32-sli deluxe as a compatiblue solution for the opteron 180. i have read some people saying it runs fine, some say it gets recognized as an athlon x2, but is that good or bad.

It should run fine but i don't know, any sckt 939 cpu should run with a sckt 939 mobo. Correct me if wrong.
