nvidia drivers

ive just put a Gforce tornado ,mx4000 into my sons pc without the driver the screen resolution is fine at 1024x768 but the screen is jumpy without the drives when i install the driver the only setting i can get is 800x600 and it wont let me change the resolution.as anyone got any ideas why.

r u sure they are the right drivers?

yes ive managed to sort it i had to tick the box for the screen to show displays the monitor to force displays it cant handle and its ok now.
