Ok, yu al kno that i posted wondering if my comp specs were good.... they weren't, so I was wonderin instead of buying a new comp couldn't I just buy a new motherboard or something??... cuz I got the comp in today and thats all the dam thing has in it a mother board and 3 fans.. so i was just wonderin if I could, and if so which one should i buy?... oh yea whats it mean to OC??
thanks

please repost your specs as well as your motherboard's name. you might just be able to pop in a p4 CPU and disable the onboard graphics w/ a nice AGP card (if you have an AGP slot). anyways, OC means to overclock something. its like making something run faster then it is made to run. i.e. you have an 2.4ghz p4 and want to make it go faster you can go into the bios and change some settings to make it run at 3.0ghz. you can do this with Video cards, CPUs, ram, ect. anyways, when you overclock the thing that you overclocked gets hotter then it should so you need to have really good cooling to keep things stable and safe.

get a diagonotics program that tells you ur comps specs cuz u sound like a noob, DO NOT OPEN UR CASE IF U DONT NOE WHAT UR DOING

OHHHHHH u dont have anything in ur motherboard.....well then get intruction on how to ground and not screw up ur mobo and case....
