Not able to use HDD

Hey guys,

I'm not sure what the issue is but I am unable to use one of the HDD's in my computer. When I open 'My Computer' it does not appear, however in 'Device Manager' both HDD's appear and the computer thinks they are both working fine. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it? It is the HDD without any OS.

Is the drive that's not appearing brand new, or did it just stop appearing?

Right click on 'my computer' and select 'manage' then 'disk management'. If you see the hard drive here right click on the drive and select 'initialize drive'. Here you can partition the drive. Once you've done this format the drive.

The drive should be available to use.
