Well,It's time for another build!

So im thinking of going with a Core i7 build this time, here's what im thinking:

-Cooler Master Scout SGC2000
-LG Bluray Drive/DVD Burner
-Intel Core i7 2.80Ghz Quad
-Wester digital 1tb SATA
-Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3
-OCZ Fatal1ty 550w 80+ Modular PSU
-G.Skill 6gb RAM
-Gigabyte Radeon 4890 1gb

= $1507

OR Go with another Phenom Build:

-Cooler Master Scout SGC2000
-LG Bluray Drive/DVD Burner
-AMD Phenom II 965 BE 3.40Ghz Quad
-Wester digital 1tb SATA
-Asus M4A77TD Pro
-OCZ Fatal1ty 550w 80+ Modular PSU
-G.Skill 6gb RAM
-Gigabyte Radeon 4890 1gb

= $1397

With the savings,i could get an X-Fi Sound card and a TV Card. Though i have been reading on the Comparisons between the 965 and the i7 i have chosen and i have come to the conclusion that Phenoms get better gaming performance and i7's are better for video editing and what not,is this true?

Also im considering getting a Kingston 64gb SSD to install W7 on,anyone tried this?

It depends on what your going to do on your computer. I had the same dilemma and went for my first Intel rig simply because I use a lot of multi-threading audio/video applications.

They're both cracking rigs!

Well my pc is mainly used for internet, gaming, multimedia (Videos,Audio,Photo Editing,TV) and some programming. I Ocassionally do Audio/Video Editing but once it's rendering it all i normally turn off the monitor and go do something else....

Im Thinking i may go with the AM3 Rig...
