new pc

I finished building my new pc and I was wondering what i should put the voltage of the power supply to.

I live in Germany but I got all my parts in America or from American sites (because im American) and i just bought a German power cord for the back.

I heard that you had to have it on one of the voltages but im not sure what.

(And my other pc exploded so im kinda scared =\)

THX!

Re: new pc

what sort of stuff you got in your comp? anything that hogs alot of power?

No not yet, I don't have a vid card yet. The stuff i have in are, HD, DVD burner, wireless card, CPU (duh) and the CPU fan.

I don't think any of that hogs a lot of power...

not our fault if you are stupid.
But anyway, as you probably already figured out in europe you should set it to 230V.

hahahha. Well at least you made me laugh, and I couldn't take an insult seriously from someone like you.

Anyway, "thx for the help " does sound like you think it's our fault.

lol, dude its your own fault(n00bhunt3r), you can't rush things you have to be more patient:rolleyes: just switch the little switch in the back to 230 when you buy a new one.
