AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.60 ghz for 99.99

and I'm buying a new NVIDIA geforce 8500GT 512mb silent running PCIexpress for 49.99

my motherboard is a Micro-star ms-7145 and bus type is AMD HAMMER 200 mhz real clock and effective clock hypertransport clock is 1000 mhz

DO I need to buy a new motherboard to support the processor, I'm currently using an AMD 64 3200+, not an x2 do I need to buy a new mobo to support the x2 5000+?

You need a motherboard that supports 1000MHz FSB and dual core processors. Of course, it needs to be Socket AM2, and those are easy to find.

The processor doesn't come with a HSF? Be sure you get one.

Newegg is currently overloaded due to Black Friday shoppers, but as soon as it's back up, I can help you look for one.

EDIT-- Newegg appears to be back up. I found this board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138081
I think it is what you need.

I am an Intel fanboy, so I need an AMD fanboy to back me up, here.
