K i play bf2 and i was wondering what graphics i would get from this

Current Setup:
Pentium 4 1.8ghz 400mhz 512-kb L2 cache
Intel D845HV Mobo
768mb PC133 RAM
Geforce 5200 128mb

Upgraded Setup:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131571
Asus Mobo |939 Socket | Geforce 6100 North Bridge | 2000mhz FSB |
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103535
Amd Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 2.0ghz 512kb L2 cache
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130011
EVGA Geforce 7600GS 256mb
1gb of RAM
Now this Upgrade to my computer would cost me $400 but i think by far it would be worth it...what do u think about this new setup...also i would later get maybe 2gb but with the setup of:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0ghz 512kb-L2 cache
Asus Mobo with Geforce Chipset
EVGA Geforce 7600GS 256mb
1gb of RAM (later maybe 2gb)

what graphics could i acheive from this on battlefield 2....thx guys....also is the geforce chipset good for gaming? thx

Get an NForce 4 chipset and 2GB of RAM. 1GB of RAM is find though. 2GB will speed up load times to a couple seconds. the 7600GS is a decent card and should play BF2 decently.

Yeah I agree with a different motherboard. Why are you getting a micro atx one? A cheap decent motherboard would be the Asus A8N-5X.

well my tower only supports micro atx boards.......and there are no nforce4 boards that are micro atx :(

I don't play bf2 but I play counter strike source, hl2...mostly valve games....i finished building a computer recently and it works like a dream, i have a great video card and processor and they were dirt cheap....

If you want to save money go with the Chaintech nVIDIA GeForce 6600LE (256mb) or just Chaintech SE66LE-T6 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=327401)

I have an AMD Sempron 3400+ (yes it's a 64-Bit) it's cheaper and works better than the Athlon 3200 (I think) it works VERY well and it's 2.0gHz (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80507)

my mobo works great too its a Chaintech MK8T890 and it has a PCI-Express x16 port (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=241593)

For a good site that I ordered all of my parts from its zipzoomfly.com and they have free 2 day shipping on almost everything including all of the above.

well sounds good but im prolly keeping the 3200+ 2.0ghz because u can overclock it to around 2.5ghz pretty easily which is said in about 100 reviews on www.newegg.com

another thing is i want to get the 7600gs just becasue it is more up to date and it has faster memory speeds and core speeds...another plus is have GDDR2 memory in the video card and 12 pixel piplines...

one reason y i am just buying a new tower and an atx motherboard is so that i can get more out of it and SLI possibility....so later on if i have another 100 dollars in my hand i will simply go buy another 7600gs and have a very fast computer...also later i have the ability to upgrade my cpu and the RAM will probably still be fine....thx for ur comments though they were very helpful and i might have to end up using some of ur ideas on thing if cannot afford enough....ne other comments will be helpful....thx cornholio
