new dvd burner

so im getting a dvd burner to accompany my cd burner. Its SATA instead of IDE. When im setting it up, do i still need to switch my cd burner to slave? or keep it master? My new SATA drive will be the master. I dont know much about this stuff for SATA drives. Im also disappointed because i ordered last night, and im not getting it until monday, thats almost one week. but oh well, ill live.

You can leave the CD how it is its IDE so it wont affect the new SATA DVD
