New Desktop- Need Wireless Adapter Help

Just got used Dell Desktop. Dell DHM about 4 years old. Does have USB connections.

There was no Operating System and my professor recommended Linux.

Now I need a wireless adapter for a desktop. What should I get? Our wireless router is Netgear.

Please help!

TP Link is a good brand I use a lot of. They have USB and PCI cards. If you have a pci-e x1 slot you can get one of the other name brand cards I use. It's a abit AirPace WiFi card. It will bang a signal through when others are not making it. And the receiver is very sensitive to weaker signals. $29.00usd. Until I ran a cable to the router the AirPace what the device of choice.
