I have an Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2 GHz processor in my computer right now. I also have an AMD Athlon 64 X2. They are both socket 939. How would I go about changing out one for another. Can I just take one out and put the other one in or will I have a lot of other crap that I have to do?

Yeah, it depends on your mobo. If your mobo supports both, I think its as easy as taking one off, taking off the heatsink/fan, and then putting the new one in, and replacing the heatsink/fan.
