what do you guys think about my selection, and also what's the difference between Serial ATA150 and SATA and IDE Ultra and all that junk

I would get an sli mobo just because y ou'll be glad that you did in the future

first off, a 3500+ is a waste of money, go for a 3200+ and oc it. Spend the leverover money on an aftermarket cooler like an SI-120 from thermalright and a Panaflo or any 120mm fan. The ASUS mobo is okay, not a recommendation, i would go for a DFI Lan Party Ultra-D if you are going to overclock. The RAM is a very nice choice, the video card is pretty good too but i would go with a 6800nu. For the psu, i would go for a Fortron AX-500 if you are on a budget if not, get a OCZ Powerstream 520. And Aspire cases have the worst cooling ever. Get yourself an Antec P-180.
