new case

I am thinking of buying a new case but my only worries are that I will do it wrong or it wont fit right in the new case. Does anyone know any ways of
1.Knowing my computer will fit perfectly.
2.ensuring I out things in the right places.

ATX Case with ATX power supply. Make sure your motherboard is compatible with the case, it its a full size ATX you may want a full size tower etc. it wont help if you have like a pentium I which is all AT and wont realy work with your new case lol. it seems you dont have much knowledge in this, you sure you are up for it?

Yeah - it is bigger in physical complexity to replacing the motherboard, not more complicated but physically its very difficult. And theres a lot that could be destroyed.
