New Build - comments please

I've finally decided to take the plunge and go for a new build. Here are the specs:

Intel E6850 3GHz Core 2 Duo Processor, 1033MHz FSb
ASUS Striker Extreme 680i
WD SATA HDD, 500GB x2
Corsair 2GB RAM, DDR2 800MHz
nVIDIA 8800 Ultra 768MB
Antec 900 - gaming case with 200mm Top Fan
Enermax Galaxy 850W PSU
(DVD-ROM and DVD-RAM drives, but I haven't decided on which model yet.)


Vista Ultimate and Office 2007

Total Cost: £1600

hmm personally id go for the Q6600 but i guess thats personal choice quad cores will definatel be the future its just are they really practicat with todays programes ? an ongoing debate.

but the rest looks good

Actually, having looked at this, I think I will go for a Q6600. I have this one in mind. What does the G0 Stepping mean?

G0 is the version of the processor. Currently, G0 is the latest version of it. It runs a little cooler than previous versions, so it overclocks better.
