Networking house

we are networking our whole house with a 24port 10/100/1000 switch and we were planning on cat5e but is cat6 that much better? We will have a media server and all that.

if you have a gigabit switch than i would get cat6, dunno if you can get full bandwidth with cat5e, specially if you like to transfer files, you should get something like 90 megabytes a second if you use all bits, because i get 9MB\S with a 10\100 router.

if your going to spend the money to do this, do it right
