Problem description:

When I try to put two comps on network so I can acess their Hard disks, compA sees the compB, but compB don't see the compA. Everything's well installed, well configured, router is well configured. I just can't do a network from compB to compA.

The thing that stinks is that I have a LAN party held sunday, which includes compA, compB and compC, but I can't make the connection between compA and compB only.

What's wrong?

You say that you have then configured right. what OS are you using. What name does each one have. What group are they associated with.. Does B get to the internet, Does A. If all these are ok then the problem is within your router.

CompA OS: Windows XP titanium SP2
Name: WORKGROUP

CompB OS: Windows XP Pro corp
Name: WORKGROUP2

CompC OS: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise
Name: WORKGROUP3

Would any of this be good to ya?

found the problem: CompA OS is screwed...My comC can see my othe comp and CompB can see compC
