Need some help building a gaming computer (~2000$ budget)

So i have about ~2000$ to spend on a new, gaming PC, and i thought building it myself would be better instead of buying premade PC's different stores offer, but i'm a bit confused after a few days of exploring benchmarks, reviews etc. and i would like an advise from you guys)

So here's what i'm 100% sure about :
IntelCore i7 2600K (3.4 GHz, 8MB cache, s1155)

And here is what i think would be cool :
MSI Radeon HD 6970 (2GB) [Don't really like crossfire, many ppl have troubles with them...]
Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD5-B3 s1155
CORSAIR XMS3 DOMINATOR GT DDR3 8GB (4x2, 2133 Mhz)
CORSAIR 750W
Thermaltake V9 BlacX Edition / VH6000BWS

Also there should be a SDD, HDD and a liquid cooling system but i don't really know what should i choose here...

I have a monitor, mouse, keyboard and DvD-rom.
