NEED Recommendations on a card....

OK so i believe my gpu isn't strong enough for the game im playing... i just want a wayyyy better performance quality gpu but i absolutely dont know what to look for when shopping for a graphics card... i am currently running a evga 9600gt super clocked edition. so can you guys recommend me a better graphics card that can handle more games than what i have now?

my rig specs are:
Intel Core2Quad Q6600 cpu
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
unknown name 2 gb DDR2 PC2-5300 ram
OCZ stealthXstream 600 watt psu

im playing a MMORPG called Cabal.... and every single time there is high intense graphics going like when im fighting or whatever the screen completely goes black... did some trial and error.. searching then came up to a conclusion that my card is just too weak..

What is your monitor's native resolution? Do you like to play with full AA/AF?

its at 1440x900... and what is AA/AF?? sorry i dont know the terms...
also forgot to mentions my monitor is a 19" LCD Acer P191w

sooo does anybody else have any other recommendations they would like to share? c'mon guys need more opinions...
