Need an opinion on buying friends desktop

Okay so my friend will sell me his desktop for $360. I need to save some money for school so I cant get something too expensive. So I just need some opinions please.

- Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard socket 775
- Intel Q6600 cpu
- 4gb DDR2 800mhz ram
- LG 22x sata DVD burner
- Seagate 7200.10 320gb sata hard drive
- Creative Audigy 2 ZS sound card
- HD 4870 video card
- Antec Lanboy case, windowed, all aluminum
- 9in1 card reader
- Antec 550w power supply
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, antivirus, Power DVD and Nero
- Two additional RAM slots
The video is a separate pci-e express video card with 512mb of GDDR 5 memory.

what are you wanting to use the computer for?

A little bit of gaming, its a huge upgrade from my laptop. I also need it to run music production programs like reason, ableton and pro tools.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me, even though the processor and graphics card are a bit "outdated", it looks like decent specs for the price.

You will be able to run most of the things you referenced just fine.
