Need Major help

Ok, I got a lead today, here it is:

Now I connected it all up correct, 1 problem, theirs no color on my tv but their is on ma laptop, now it displays perfect just black and white on tv, has anyone bought anything like this and experinced the same problem?

If so how do I make it color?

Its got nothing to do with my tv as I've tried 4 upto now and no go.

I can also say the ORANGE S-Video lead is in the laptop and the scart is in the back of the tv, its all setup correct just can't figure why no color?


EDIT!!!

I went to my other TV and it worked but bad color, then I set to pal and works 100%, my av-s was of on the tv but on the other one the pic is all fooked up, i think its just that tv.
works now thnx anyway

Excellent.

Was gonna say that you have to make sure that you select the S-AV channel on the TV.

Similar with my Sony widescreen. There's the normal AV channels I.E. AV1 AV2. And theres AV1-S & AV2-S. See usually with the SCART's you can select the usuall composite or RGB and then you have the S-VHS select.

But if you have it working on another TV that's a Rap.
