I just recently built a new computer. It uses an IDE DVD drive, but a SATA HDD. This is the first time I've ever worked with SATA devices, so I'm a bit new. I've configured the SATA HDD to function as an IDE device (rather than a RAID [only have one HDD at the moment] or something else), and it's set on a 'primary' SATA connector (as opposed to a 'slave' connector, to distinguish primary/slave when using SATA HDDs as IDE).
Everything is running off of this motherboard:

I'm trying to install Debian on my system. I've gotten to the point where it tries to find my HDD, but it can't:
"No disk drive was detected. If you know the name of the driver needed by your disk drive, you can select it from the list."
And then it gave me a huge list of drivers. I have no idea which one to choose, or if any work. I've scrolled through them and found some sata_-prefixed drivers (sata_mv, sata_nv, sata_promise, sata_qstor, etc.) but none of them work: it takes me back to the list. I've also tried all the drivers with a ide_-prefix.
This is my HDD:

Does anyone know what I can do? I really hope there's a way for me to get Linux running, as it's my primary OS.This is my first time building a computer from the ground up, so I can use all the help I can get. =)
Also -- I do have a driver CD that came with the motherboard, but I don't know how I will be able to run it with the debian CD in, or if it's at all useful with Linux (might be a Windows only installer...). I can post more specs if you need them. =)
