I think that my motherboard has gone bad. I am going to try to buy a new one and need some help. This is the specs for my computer right now:

- AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz Socket AM2 89W Dual-Core Processor

- MSI NX8400GS-TD256E GeForce 8400 GS 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video Card

- Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

- G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel

I need to find a relatively cheap motherboard as soon as possible.

I have a ATX Mid Tower case. Will this motherboard be a problem since it is a micro atx motherboard? If so, do you have any other suggestions?

No. Any motherboard smaller than the broken one will fit.

That didn't really make any sense. He's already GOT an uATX mobo so there's really nothing smaller than that. I think what you meant to say is that anything ATX or smaller (such as uATX) will fit since the OP said his case is an ATX midtower...therefore a standard ATX will fit.
