All the parts that I listed besides the ones I already have need to total 500$, no more. I was gonna go with the 3800+ x2 and go with a better motherboard that does SLI , but I kinda decided against it, so If anybodys has got any advice or just suggestions please tell me. Thanks

You're not getting an SLI ready board? Ah, well. That will get the job done for your budget I guess. I would check and make sure that RAM will work on that board because I know some people with ASUS boards had trouble with it. Just a suggestion.

Well thats what I was wondering, if I go with a SLI board ill have to downgrade my CPU from AMD 4200+ x2 to a 3800+ x2, If you think its a worthy trade to get a SLO board then Ill go with that.

EDIT: or If I could find a 10$ cheaper PSU then I could go with the SLI board also with the 4200+. As you could probably tell im on a reallll tight budget, lol.

It is worthy trade in. Theres not much diff between the 4200 and 3800.

ok then, ill go with the 3800+ and tthe SLI board, im sure I could overclock the 3800+ past the 4200+ down the road anyways
