My desktop monitor isn't woking correctly...

My desktop flat-panel monitor is showing lines all throughout the screen, at about 1.5" intervals. Anybody know what's wrong? I tried restarted, turning off then back on of the monitor, etc but it's still showing those lines. Is something unplugged??

do u have a video card in your computer if not can u please show the specs and os u r using

Have you checked your graphics card, or tried your computer with a different screen, have you got any other electrical hardware near it thats causing interference, mobile phone, telephone, washing machine, video,DVD?.
