i plug in my usb mouse and keyboard, the little chirrup sound goes like they're recognized, but they still dont work. on my mouse, when its working the red light is on. are the usb ports just not powereing? i had to go and correct some system32 windows error, and once i fixed that this problem came up. both the front and rear ports dont work, and my mouse and keyboard are both wired and i know they work.any fixes?

When i first tried my mouse/keyboard in my new puter, it wouldnt work. i restarted and it worked fine. mabye try restarting?
also, did it come with an instillation CD or floppy?
