Motherboard/PSU Compatability

I am doing a major upgrade to my system and have ordered all the parts. Of course after I made the order I found this bit of info in the PSU Manual (Cooler Master iGreen 600W Power Supply ATX V2.2 EPS12V)

"This power supply does not support –5V for the motherboard for new ATX form factor operation.
Please update the BIOS setting of the motherboard."

The Mobo manual(Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe Socket AM2)

shows the 24 pin connector does indeed have a -5V pin.
It also states to use a Psu that complies with ATX 12V specification 2.0 or later.

Should I be concerned with this or will a Bios update take care of this issue?

The BIOS update should take care of it, but if not you will just have to get a new PSU that is supported by the motherboard.

Thanks Istonian.

I checked out several Psu's and couldn't find any that have any -5V outputs
including Asus units so I don't think I have any worries.

I'll know for sure in a couple of weeks when I get a chance to assemble my new build.
