motherboard probs

Recently my pc died and a friend said that I will need a new motherboard, I have found some that match the socket (socket 478) but they all say "for pentium 4 processors" and I need one for my intel celeron processor, would my celeron work inside it or do I have to find a specific intel celeron motherboard?

Im not 100% sure but I think that as long as the processor is from the same manufacturer and it's the same socket it will work.

I think you better post your choices, tell us if your celeron is socket 478, and we'll find out if it's supported...

If your Celeron is fsb 533, fine, up to 2.8, anyway, look at the support table:
