Hi...I'd greatly appreciate some help

My parents got in a fight, so I left and drove around town, came back my desktop seems to be squished together, and in some sort of "Pan" mode, it only shows a small portion of the screen, and I need to push the mouse in a direction to pan it elsewere, any idea how to Fix?

Monitor - 17" CRT Insignia
GFX- ATI Raedon 9250 256 DDR PCI

Thank you,
JJ

The parents don't need to be included.
Try doing a monitor reset.Read your book,it's usually 2 buttons.
Then do a degaus.

no, its more likely to be 1280 x 1050 if its a 17".
Thats got nothing to do with it.This is dependent on other things.
It's a distorsion problem not screen size.
But he won't be back,so lets wait.

Did you try to use the monitor controls on the monitor itself? There should be a control that will adjust the verticle and horrizontal settings back to where they belong. Let us know if it helped you or not .
