Hey there gang

yup its me, Mr how many time can u mess up ur comp. Anyway Im trying to install Microsoft net.2.0 and it keeps freezing part way through, so im having to manually turn off the comp and restart, the last attempt it said i had to turn off microsoft net.2.0 before i could carry on installing m net. 2.0 ?????? also can any1 tell me how or have a link to get rid of the red shield when turning off windows firewall, ps. raff ur the man

that is about the security alerts.

Don't know about the .net framework, but do you have 1.0 installed? that could be a problem.

Not sure about your net problem.

To turn off the shield just click it so it takes you to the page where it monitors it, you should see a recommendations tab, if not then click the pull down arrow next to firewall. Then just put a tick in the il monitor my firewall myself.
