IS this mobo good

I am upgrading my pc and wondered if this was a good mobo and i was going to pair it with an intel coreduo e6420, are the intels really that much better than the amds? because at the same price there is an amd that runs at 2.8, and this intel runs at 2.13, whats the big difference between the two?

Ghz isn't everything.

Second, that mobo is fine, but first off, it doesn't support SLi which shouldn't be a deciding factor.

Also, the 533 Mhz of memory is pretty low.

when i replace the mobo and cpu, can i continue to use my hd, or will i need to reinstall xp?

As far as I know you will have to reinstall xp. You can do that off a partition in your HD.

so that asus board will be fine with the intel, and i can fit them all no problem, and then i'll need to reinstall xp, is there any chace of doing it without installing xp, because you can contact Microsoft and they give you a new product key because xp recognizes your mobo and if you change it you can reactivate xp i think.
