I currently have a Vaio SR series laptop and was planing to buy a new hard drive for it so I could install XP on the new hard drive and keep Vista on the old one as a replacement. As I was looking through mobile hard drives, a thought struck me. Do all mobile hard drives fit into any laptop? Obviously I know that 3 inch will not fit into a 2.5 inch. I'm asking if any 2.5 inch HD will fit into any hard drive.
Also recommendations to where I could purchase a mk2546gsx hard drive would be appreciated.
