hi, i have an ati 5830, i was thinking of getting a cheap nvidia card to handle physx, is that a bad idea or good? I have a few questions

1. Would i have problems with having both ati and nvidia drivers on my pc

2. Will the pc know to use the nvida card purely for physX and the ati one for everything else?

2. would it bring down the power of my 5830 to the cheaper nvidia one so it have matched clock speeds, or would they work independantly?

If it would work fine, any suggestions on what card?

1. Yes, use driver cleaning software. (If you are using ATI & Nvidia at the same time, I have no clue. I never even thought that was possible).
2. Don't know, can you even use an ATI and an Nvidia at the same time?
3. Sorry, don't know.

1) No
2) Physx is overrated. You're better off just upgrading to a higher end video card to handle the extra load. Pick any flavor card, ATI or Nvidia that fits your budget
2b (er... you have two 2's) irrelevant since Physx is overrated.

I wouldn't bother.
