Missing Disk Space

Hi,
I have a 150gb Harddrive (Which is actually 139gb in an OS) When I right click on the hard drive and do properties it says I've used 70.4 GB, and have 69.2 GB free. Now, when I highlight everything in the C: drive (WIth system files and hidden files shown) I only come up with 54 GB. Now, my questions is, does anybody know where the 14GB that are used but not showing in my C: are? Thanks for the help!

well some of it is more than likely system files that are not visible and therfore dont show when u highlight it all

It surprises me that over 16GB would be used for system files not shown even with the "hide protected operating system files" option turned off.
