MIC for my comp doesent work!

i recently bought a mic for my computer and i plugged it in and it didnt work. So i tryed again i went into the windows program "recorder" and it didnt work!

I looked hard on the package and it sayed your sound card must have a Stereo condenser input. WhAT does that mean?

And how can i get this mic working?

double click the little round volume icon in the lower right corner by the time, go over to where it says "microphone" and uncheck the box that says "mute"

Yeah; that should work. If it doesn't - best to just send it back and get them to sort it out.
