Limewire problem

I recently tried to download from limewire and I only can get 1KB/sec even with good sources when I usually get around 130KB/sec.
I havnt used it for a few weeks and I dont use it that often anyway but since yesterday the speed has been really slow.

I emailed my broadband company about this and they said that they dont like their users using p2p software.

Someone mentioned that I should try a VPN but I have no idea what that is or how to use one.

your not meant to tell your isp you download off p2p. thats how you get sent to prizon lol! have you fiddled with any settings or is it out of the blue?

Well, here, we are going with the broadband company. We discourage users of using P2P, and talking of P2P in the forums is against the rules.
