OK, I decided to try a Green PC Led on the PSU to see if it would work.

First, I removed the plastic plug, so the two wires could be free.
Second, I plugged the green wire with the red wire on the power molex.
Then, I plugged the white one with the black as it is ground.

Next, when I power it on, The GREEN led appears RED with a little yellow and if I leaveit for a half a second, it slowly fades to off. Am I burning something???

Or, do I have to remove the two metal thingys on each wire???

Wow...the led is bigger than the molex in this draw...I don't have proportion

Oops...Theyare 2.5V onto a 5V...I burned it. It went red then a big yellow light with a small crackle...smells bad afterwards...oops.

Oh well, next time I'll know.

Yea the company puts the smoke in there when they build the electronics... if you let the smoke out it doesnt work anymore...
