Laptop Processor

Hello,

I am going to be buying a laptop and I am unsure what processor to get. Im going from a 3.4 ghz desktop. The laptop im looking at has a dual 1.66mgz processor. I know it will be slower but will It really be slow? I could upgrade to a 1.83 for almost 100 bucks more it just dosent seem like it would make much of a difference? Any thoughts would be appreciated i hope to buy this laptop by the end of the day

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 with a Intel Centrino Duo T2300 (Dual 1.66GHz), the performance is great for a laptop and you can watch high definition video without a glitch. The Duo is also compatible with Vista so it will be handy if you want to update at a later date. I would recommend having a look at the T2300 because for the price, it performs extremely well!
