keybord problem.

My keybord works and other times it wont, lately it's been happening allot. I have another keybord spair (all are wired) and I still have the same problem. If I can't type anything I have to keep rebooting until it works. I have tested both keybords on another computer and they are both fine. The socket on the computer looks fine and there is no sign of damage anywhere? What could it be? Could there be a problem with my motherboard it's an asus p4s800-mx I would say its aprox 2 years old Thankyou

yeah, its probly ur motherboard ps/2 connector.

Thanks John123 is it worth replacing the hole bord or get it looked at?

i would replace the whole board, because theres not much you can do to one thing on a motherboard.

Hey Dev0115 never thought of that one. But i need the plug type becuse i run a KVM switch i run two computers off one keybord and mouse ( i still get the same problem without the KVM switch) Would you recomend for a motherbord.?

then just throw away the kvm switch and buy usb keyboard and mouse for yours, and use ps/2 connectors for the other one...
