kapersky? bitdefnder? eset?

Looking for a good highly recommended anti-virus software.
Right now on this PC I have kapersky. I do like it and have not ran into issues.
For my build Im checking to see if anyone else rec. something better.
I read a lot of good things about bitdefender , kapersky and eset.

If you like kaspersky keep it.
It's a good AV and i know some of the members here use it as well

I use ESET Security Suite 8. Lite memory and processor foot print and always on the ball. It updates the virus signature several times a day so it's always current.
And the price isn't bad. I just recently put this on my laptop after AVG missed a few things. I use it on my desk rig as well. Long time user. $59.95usd for one computer, one year.

I always used to recommend Kaspersky (a couple of years ago) as I found it to be very reliable, if the program is as good now as it was then I'd suggest keeping with Kaspersky!

Avast free coupled with super anti spyware and malware bytes. Free and gets everything. I've only gotten a virus once and these suites got rid of them fast and easy

I've read online a lot of these. Especially eset and kapersky will realy slow your computer down?

They'll all slow your system down a bit when they're scanning, the most notorious one is Norton...

Actually Norton isn't so much of a resource hog anymore.
But yeah, it was at once point pretty bad

Here is a collection of different up to date tests on AV's

Eset has never slowed down any of my PCs. In fact, it has had no noticeable impact.
