Just Curious, I'm not angry at Windows or anything because of this minor thing, or want to kill somebody, but, in the Windows Operating System, whether it's Windows ME, Windows 2000 or XP I've noticed that when I go to Start ---> Run ---> and type in 'dxdiag' to get my system specs, instead of the full amount of memory I have it reads 2MB less. My old old computer when it had 128MB of RAM it read 126MB instead on Windows ME, on Windows 2000 on my father's computer it read "254MB" instead of 256MB. When I upgraded the RAM on my old old computer from 128MB to 512MB it read "510MB". On my current computer before I upgraded the RAM it said "1022MB" and now that it's up to 2GB it says "2046MB". What's with that? Why does it always read 2MB less? I don't want it to be fixed, because, frankly, a 2MB RAM increase isn't worth my time no matter how simple, I'm just curious.

Yeah, there really isn't any way around it that I know of. Your memory is there, it's just that it's not showing you.
