The jump switches on a mobo basically reset the bios.
You used to have to do this manually by taking out the battery, but these have been added now to speed the process up if your BIOS settings have gone wrong, etc.
so he says hes installing a new mobo but needs help with the jump switchs. That doesnt really make sense because u dont need to do anything with them right at the installlation.
