I have dual line ISDN, and when I connected today, It said "Bigpond is now connected at 64kbs" Instead of 128kbs. The light on the modem also indicated it was running at 64. Normally it only runs at 64kbs when someone is on the phone (64kbs for internet and phone each). When I tried to use the internet, it didn't work at all though.
I created a new connection in my network places that was identical to the old one and connected using the new connection, and it worked fine.
Does anyone know what the problem may have been? (My Dad says it has happened to him before but he just left it and the next day it was fine)
