inverter vs whole lcd case

I have problem with laptop HP ZT1000 class B... its a black screen,...

i assume its inventer problem but my friend recommend me to get a whole lcd ( backligh, lcd screen and inventer) because of life span.

whole lcd case for ZT1000 at ebay is extremely rare but sometime cheap compare to inventor which is lots at ebay

so what is your suggestion? is my friend wrong (yeah its backstab but my friend doesn't know )
