Internet goes off and on

Hey fellas I have a Siemens Speedstream 6520 and lately I lose internet access every few minutes and it comes back on. I notice the cause is that the green DSL light on the modem goes off, then in a few seconds it blinks to a solid green light and I get internet again. I called my ISP and they said everything is all right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanx. By the way I have 2 PCs connected to this modem; both are wired connection, not wireless.

It sounds like a problem on the ISP's side, you might want to have someone come take a look at it. I've had similar problems and the past, and it turned out that there was an underground line somewhere that needed to be replaced.

It may come from the plug in the wall being bad or it can come inside the wires. The ISP can also be a trouble, but I'm preety sure it has to be a problem with the wire or the wire plug on the wall.
