Installing drivers

Alright, before I go out and buy a new soundcard, I want to make sure that theres nothing I can about my integrated sound card.

I have an AX4BS motherboard with windows xp installed.

1)The first thing I did was download this exact file. http://download.aopen.com.tw/Downlo...r/mb/realtek/alc201/2.61.exe&Section=9&DL=yes

2)I extracted the file and clicked on Setup, after going through the setup my computer restarted.

3) I went into device manager and checked under "sound, video, and game controllers" but the driver did not appear. This is where my problem is.
Is there something im doing wrong or was a right about my integrated sound being broken?

Please confirm for me.

Wtf...I just opened up the case and pushed against the integrated sound thing, and then the driver installed. I was right, it was broke, must be loose or something.. but it works now.
