Instaling DVD Burner

Right now, i have a NEC ND-1300A DVD Burner in my computer and it is master and has an IDE connection. I just ordered the NEC ND-3520A, so I could replcae my old one. Is there anything I have to do in bios or anywhere else, or can I just turn off the comp, take out the old one, and install the new one (making sure i put the jumper configurations as master).

Just replace it.

CD/DVD drives are pretty good about working without needing any drivers. About the only problem you could have is that some of your software won't reconsize or let it run full speed. That all depends on how old the stuff in.

Ah, and nice choice with the burner. I just got myself a 3520A
