Icon stuck in "My Computer" CD Drive display...?

I have an HP with WinXP Media Center. I recently played a game ( Risk II ) with no problems, but now there is a glitch. I remove the CD, and if I go to "My Computer", the game title/icon still shows thats the disc still in the drive. If I put in a blank CD, or another CD with something on it, the icon display doesn't change ( still shows Risk II ). If I place a blank CD-RW in the drive and try to write files to it, I get an error about the wrong disc or something along those lines. I have rebooted with no change.

Any suggestions?
