I wounder if this network card really works the Killer Network Interface Card

its like $250 and it say it reduces lag and improves FPS... I wounder if it really works... anyone know?

eh... i kinda doubt it... with the current way pci devices are set, the CPU can only send/recive from one at a time (if it needs to send out a sound file to your sound card, it cannot work with a pci NIC, the pci bus is busy)

i can see how a nic with onboard RAM would decrease lag and increase network speed, but i don't see it increasing FPS much. yes, a faster connection would speed tings up a bit, but most of that is based on your video, proc, and ram.

About 10% increase in performance, so yes it does work, but it definately is not worth the $250 price tag.
